Every asana is a pearl, but a handful of pearls is not yet a necklace!

The thread that crosses, brings together and orders the asanas is the controlled breath of the soul and conscience.

200RYT Yoga Alliance Teacher

Hi, I'm Lucia! Passionate about energy in all its forms, I started as an engineer and worked my way up to being a Yoga Alliance and CSEN certified yoga teacher.

How did yoga come into my life? (I bet you're wondering!)

By chance, as often happens. My first encounter with what I later discovered to be Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga took place in 2014 during a holiday in Costa Rica. It was like love at first sight!

Having returned to Rome, after the holiday I decided to practice this discipline, seeking that "meditation in movement" that had fascinated me so much.

After two years of practicing Vinyasa Flow, I decided to undertake my first teacher training course with the Yoga Suite School in Rome, I obtained my first certificate in 2017 after studying Yoga and Medicine with Giancarlo Miggiano and Beatrice Gianpaoli.

I confess that from that moment my curiosity began to grow! Thus began my adventure towards dynamic yoga styles such as Ashtanga and Rocket which I decided to practice assiduously while looking for a specific training course.

In 2018 I left for Indonesia, headed by Bali, to study with Ricardo Martin and his wife Kunkanit Phrombut (Joy), students of Larry Schultz and Petri Raisanen, who directed me towards Rocket Yoga and towards and taught Ashtanga according to the traditional method.

Between 2020 and 2021 I therefore obtained two more certificates with the Bright Yoga School directed by Ricardo and Joy, precisely for teaching these types. But a teacher never stops learning, so over the years I have continued to study with other teachers such as David Robson and Ambra Vallo and I want to go to Mysore one day.

What has yoga taught me? Patience, towards myself first and foremost and the concept of "non-attachment".

What else can I tell you? I learned the most important lessons from my students, so I'll wait for you on the mat of Ashtanga Shala Sicilia in the Marsala headquarters.
